We negotiate in every part of our lives. As children, we negotiate to stay up later at night. Friends negotiate with each other about what movie to go to. Colleagues negotiate for help on a project. Prospective tenants negotiate for an extra parking spot. Whenever someone wants you to say yes to them, you’re negotiating. Whenever you want someone to say yes to you, you’re negotiating. In this course, we’ll learn the basic principles of negotiating.
